Currently, Chairman of SEC Newgate UK, I have spent decades driving excellence in public affairs, fostering talent and delivering impactful communications solutions. I founded Bellenden Public Affairs in 2006, spending 15 years as its chief executive, growing it into a top 10 UK agency employing over 50 consultants without external investment. In 2016, we rebranded as Newington Communications, and were bought by SEC. We merged fully into the SEC Newgate Group in 2021, now a top 20 global corporate affairs group.

Deeply committed to the highest standards of transparency within our sector, I was honoured with the 2020 PRCA Public Affairs Award for my contribution to the industry, including my time as the Public Affairs Industry Chair, and remain an Honorary PRCA Fellow. My agencies have won over 20 awards, reflecting the talent and dedication grown within our teams. Former consultants continue to shape business and politics in senior roles across the nation.
